Người họa sĩ đầu tiên mà tôi học và copy tranh là họa sĩ ViVi Võ Hùng Kiệt. Những hình vẽ nét (line drawings) của ông chịu ảnh hưởng trường phái Art Nouveau (mà mãi sau này tôi mới biết).
I was not lucky enough to learn paintings at any art school so I had to resort to self-learning through art books and videos. One of the method for self-learning is to study and copy paintings of my favorite artists. The first artist I studied was ViVi Võ Hùng Kiệt. His line drawings were of the style of Art Nouveau (that I only learned much later).
